In Wednesday's contest against Oakland Mills, Wilde Lake High School Senior Adam Baxley faced seventeen batters, striking out eight, walking none and giving up only one run. The one run surrendered by Baxley was a home run in the fourth inning hit by Oakland Mills Pitcher Suggs.
 
The Wilde Cat's got off to a quick start by scoring all thirteen of their runs in the first two innings of the game. The offense was lead by Junior, Steven Perdigao who hit a triple in the first inning with the bases loaded, Sophmore, Joe Kelly who was one for two with three RBI'S and Junior, Corey Lyman who was two for three with an RBI. 

The defense for Wilde Lake was flawless, committing no errors and turning a double play in the fifth inning to close the door on Oakland Mills. The Wilde Cat's have scored thirty-nine runs in their first three games of the season.
