2009 All-Beltway Girls Indoor Track Coach of the Year

Coach Johnson has continued to maintain a strong and dominant Eleanor Roosevelt Lady Raiders track program as the Lady Raiders won the 4A East region meet championship. Johnson and the Lady Raiders also took first place at the 4A Maryland state meet to take the indoor state title.

"I give  a lot credit, a whole lot of credit to the other coaches, as well," Johnson said. "We are like a family, both the coaches and the athletes, and we work together. Working together and being dedicated is the reason why we do so well."
