Applewhite was a dominating force inside for Eleanor Roosevelt and helped lead the Raiders to a 4A conference title, a fifth consecutive 4A South region title, and a Maryland state record fifth consecutive state championship. The Dayton University-bound forward averaged 13.4 points per game to go alongside 13.5 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 2 steals per game. She also had 14 20-rebound games throughout the season.
