The Northfield volleyball team took a one game lead into the fourth game, but was unable to defeat the visiting Peru Tigers on Wednesday evening.  The hosts fell  24-26, 25-17, 25-7, 21-25, 6-15 in an excellent battle.  Northfield falls to 15-9 with the loss, but remains 4-2 in Three Rivers Conference Standings.  Carly Mast led the Norse with 21 kills and Alicia Ratcliff added nine kills.  Bayli Birk dished out 32 assists while Gentry Kline had 20 digs in the losing effort.  The Junior Varsity team was able to post a 25-14, 25-20 win over the guests.  Northfield will resume play on Monday, October 12th when they host Oak Hill on Senior Night.
