Staff Report
Frankfort continued its tough
non-conference schedule Friday traveling to Monticello
to face Twin Lakes. The Hot Dogs came away with a
23-7 loss and some offensive worries.
The schedule was not kind to Frankfort. They invaded Twin
Lakes a week after the Indians had
lost a tough decision to Logansport and one week
before Twin Lakes
has to travel to the black hole that is Sheridan.
It was a win the Indians had to have and they made short work of this one.
Two second quarter touchdowns by the hosts decided this
battle. Running back John Dishon scampered 17 yards to start the scoring and
then quarterback Chris Broussard connected on a 30 yard touchdown pass late in
the quarter.
Frankfort
struggled to generate any real offense in the game. The Hot Dogs were limited
to just 143 yards in total offense. The loss drops Frankfort to 0-2 on the season.
