It’s time for the fifth set of rankings for the 2008 boys track & field season from our Davyd Cash, and yowza, yowza, yowza – Pike is your new No. 1. The Red Devils finalize their ascent to the tops of the boys poll this week by overtaking previous leader Ben Davis (now third) and Warren Central (now second).
Marion, meanwhile, is the other story this week ahead of sectionals after leaping from 17th to ninth. The Giants followed the aforementioned trio as well as (in order) Lawrence North, Avon, Noblesville, Carmel, and Lafayette Jefferson.
