Jerry Lovelock threw for 117 yards and a seven yard scoring pass to Darrius Douglass, Carroll Washington returned a punt 51 yards for another score, and D'Andre Green returned an interception 69 yards for yet another touchdown as the Edmondson Red Storm blanked Mervo, 20-0, in Baltimore City Division I football action on Friday.
Defensively, Anthony Rice made eight tackles, recorded a sack and recovered a fumble, David Mackall had nine tackles and D'Andre Green had six tackles as the Red Storm built a 14-0 halftime lead on the way to improving to 3-2 overall, and 2-1 in the league's Division I.
The Red Storm's running game was paced by Terrence Wilson, Devin Carpenter and Christopher Green, the latter of whom ran for a two-point conversion as well.
Jeremy Dorsey had two receptions for 60 yards for the Red Storm, who next play host to Digital Harbor on Friday.
