Tournament semifinal win over Carroll puts Eagles in Saturday championship against Hyde.

 Gonzaga varsity rugby team defeated John Carroll High School of Belair, MD 36-14 to advance to the Potomac Rugby Union high school championship this Saturday.  David Penberthy led the Eagles with three trys. John Reim, Gabe Free and captain Jordan Maitland also scored with Gabe Cunningham converting three of the six scores. Gonzaga will face the Hyde school which defeated Mt. St. Joe's 21-20 in the other semifinal match.
