Loyola Blakefield freshman running sensation Matt Jablonski turned in another outstanding performance on Saturday, at the Nike Outdoor National Track & Field Nationals, as he placed fourth in the Boys Freshman Mile at North Carolina A&T University.

Anthony Manfrin of Sleepy Hollow (IL) captured the event in 4:23.27, but Jablonski was part of three man virtual dead heat for second, as his 4:29.91, was just fractions off of the 4:29.45 posted by Jeff Lacoste (Sparta, NJ) and 4:29.66 run by Jack Terwilliger (Biddford, ME).

The performance earned Jablonski All-American honors.  He was also named an All-American earlier this year for his performance at the Nike Indoor National Championships.

Also in yesterday's Freshman Mile, Ryan Spangler of Westminster placed 18th with a time of 3:44.97 and Stephen Keith of Walkersville (4:55.70) was 27th.
