A lot of good things happened for St. Frances with the ball in Sean Mosley's hand. The senior averaged 24.2 points and 7.5 rebounds for the No. 1 Panthers, and was the Baltimore Catholic League regular season co-player of the year and tournament MVP. The future University of Maryland Terp is player of the year on the inaugural All-Digital boys' basketball team.

Player of the Year
Sean Mosley, St. Frances Academy, 6-foot-5, Sr., guard/forward: Arguably the best player out of Baltimore area since former St. Frances standout Mark Karcher, who will become coach next season. Mosley, a University of Maryland recruit, averaged 24.2 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.3 assists for Baltimore Catholic League tournament champs and No. 1 team in Digital's Top 20. Finished as state's No. 2 all-time scorer with 2,933 points.
Co-Coaches of the Year
Dave Herman, Winters Mill and William Wells, St. Frances: Herman guided sixth-year Westminster school to the Class 2A state championship, Carroll County's first in six decades. The Falcons won their fourth straight county crown, and knocked off Gwynn Park and two-time defending champ Randallstown for the state crown. In his 28th and final season, Wells captured his record-tying nsixth Baltimore Catholic League tournament title and the Panthers finished No. 1 in the Digital Top 20. He also won his 500th game at the east Baltimore school.
First team
Antoine Allen, Lake Clifton, 6-3, Sr., guard: Led Lakers to Baltimore City championship and first state Final Four since 2003. Averaged 15.7 points, 7.8 rebounds and three assists a game. Will likely attend a prep school next season.
Eric Atkins, Mount St. Joseph, 6-2, So., guard: Wiry shooter is drawing comparisions to former Calvert Hall College and Maryland standout Juan Dixon. Averaged 13.5 points, 3.6 assists and 2.8 steals for the MIAA A and Baltimore Catholic League regular season champs.
Carl "C.J." Fair, City College, 6-7, So., forward: Emerged as one of the area's up-and-coming stars in first varsity season. Averaged 20.3 points and six rebounds for the Knights, who reached 2A North Region semifinals.
Troy Franklin, Mount Carmel, 5-10, Sr., guard: Towson University-bound ballhandler was driving force behind Cougars' second MIAA B Conference championship in three seasons. Averaged 17.9 points, 5.5 assists and 3.6 steals.
Brandon Greene, Towson Catholic, 6-6, Sr., center: Steady workhorse averaged 12.5 points, 10.5 rebounds and 2.5 blocked shots for Owls, who won their second straight MIAA A Conference tournament crown. Selected defensive player of the year in the Baltimore Catholic League.
Alex Jackson, Randallstown, 6-4, Jr., forward: Athletic post performer nearly carried to Randallstown to fourth straight state championship. Averaged 17.6 points and 7.2 rebounds for Rams, and scored winning basket in 2A North Region finals against Douglass.
Isaiah Philmore, John Carroll, 6-7, Jr., forward: His efforts helped John Carroll become a presence in its first season in the MIAA A Conference. Averaged 18.3 points and 10.1 rebounds for the Patriots, and has attracted several offers including Loyola and Marquette.
Henry Sims, Mount St. Joseph, 6-11, Sr., center: The area's top big man, Sims averaged 16.5 points, 10.6 rebounds and 4.1 block for MIAA A and Baltimore Catholic League tournament runner-ups. Georgetown recruit was co-player of the year in the Baltimore Catholic League with Sean Mosley.
Roscoe Smith, Walbrook, 6-7, So., forward: Rising talent showed why Georgetown and Maryland has presented scholarship offers. Averaged 23.6 points, 11 rebounds, seven blocks and seven assists, and had 12 triple-doubles for the Warriors.
Omar Strong, Douglass, 5-8, Sr., guard: Arguably the area's best shooter despite often playing against bigger guards. Averaged 22 points, four assists and three steals for city and 2A North Region runner-ups, and had an area-best single game 50 points.
Cammeron Woodyard, Winters Mill, 6-5, Sr., guard/forward: Arguably the area's best kept talent, Woodyard led Winters Mill to Class 2A state championship. Penn State recruit averaged 20.3 points, five rebounds and 2.9 assists.

North Carolina-Wilmington recruit recorded 20 double-doubles in 24 games. Ford, 6-foot-5, averaged 17.5 points, 11.2 rebounds and two blocks for 4A East Region quarterfinalists. Division II prospect possessed strong footwork to dominate inside.
Coach of the Year
Greg Smith, Old Mill: Guided Patriots to county championship and third 4A East Region final in four seasons. Millersville school finished 23-3 and ranked 19th in Digital Top 20.

Will play in the Maryland vs. Pennsylvania All-Star game in Harrisburg March 29 and Charm City Challenge preliminary game April 6 at Towson Center.
Co-Coaches of the Year
Marcus Lewis, Marriotts Ridge and Al Moraz, Long Reach: Lewis guided Mustangs to 18-4 mark in his program's second varsity season, and was in contention for Howard County title game until final week of regular season. In his third season, Moraz guided Lightning to second Howard County title and 3A state finals. After back-to-back losses in January including an embrassing 30-point home loss to Atholton, Long Reach rolled off 15 straight victories before losing in state title game.
