GAELS AND DONS INVADE VA; EARN NATIONAL RANKINGS
Loyola's Joe Orsulak turned in one of several top 10 finishes by the Dons and Mount St. Joseph at VirginiaTech.

MIAA indoor track champion Mount St. Joseph and league rival Loyola made the five hour drive to Blacksburg, Virginia, this weekend, to compete in the elite Virginia Tech Indoor Track and Field Invitational. And, despite the presence of many nationally ranked athletes, the Gaels and Dons made a mark.
Loyola's Joe Orsulak ran 1:57.8 to place 4th in the 800. St. Joe's Dorian Johnson jumped 46'-3" in the triple jump to place eighth and Loyola's John Davenport ran 35.9 in the 300 to place 10th.
The three earned national rankings with their performance and Oruslak is also ranked nationall in the 500. There were also top ten performances by MSJ's distance medley team (6th in 11:42), Loyola's 4x800 (9th in 8:14) and Loyola's 4x400 (10 in 3:28).
Many MIAA schools will compete in the private school invitational on Saturday, Feb. 9th at Georgetown Prep.
