Recent inclement weather in the state of Maryland has forced some statewide changes
to MPSSAA events for February 13, 2008. Please continue to check back to
mpssaa.org for the latest information and changes pertaining to all MPSSAA
events.
INDOOR TRACK (New Update as of
1:30 p.m. on 2/13)
The 3A West indoor track
regional for Wednesday, February 13 at the PG Sports Complex has been postponed due to inclement weather.
The 3A West indoor track regional will be rescheduled for Thursday,
February 21 at the PG Sports Complex.
This will necessitate a move of the
3A state meet to Monday, February 25th.
The MPSSAA appreciates
everyone’s understanding and cooperation. Please review the following
timeframe.

4A State Meet: Tuesday, February 19 at 4:00 p.m.
3A West Regional: Thursday, February 21 at 4:00 p.m.

WRESTLING
There are a number of changes
to the Wrestling Dual Meet Regionals for Wednesday, February 13. The
following regions will move their regional semifinals and finals to Thursday,
February 14.

Weight allowance for
Thursday 2/14 - As a result of multiple school systems
missing consecutive days of practice due to inclement weather a one (1) pound
weight allowance will be provided for dual meet wrestling tournaments that have
been postponed until Thursday, 2/14. The weight allowance does
not apply to matches for Wednesday, February 13.
