State runners-up Jake Shilling (119) and Tanner Shaffer (145), as well as Daniel Brannon (103), Brent Mowry (152) and Alex Ingagliato (215) won titles, Mike Garrow (112) and Tony Ingagliato (189) were second, Tom Brannon (125) took third, and Chase Ursitti (135), fourth as the LaPlata Warriors blew away the field at Saturday's Class 4A-3A North Regional Tournament and qualiefied nine wrestlers for next weekend's Class 4A-3A state tournament at the University of Maryland's Cole Field House.

Shilling won a clash of former state finalists, 7-1, over Huntington's Daniel Justice to help the Warriors, who are trying to regain the tournament crown they lost to Old Mill last season.

With 193.5 points to that of runner-up Westlake's 98, the Warriors nearly doubled their second-place team's points.

Others winning titles were Northern of Calvert wrestlers Quin Leadbetter (112) and Jeff Williams (140), Thomas Stone's Phillip Wesbury (160) and Justin Bowersox (171), Prince George's County champ Martin Mitchell (125) of Laurel, Bowie's Eric Bulger (130), Chopticon's Sam Cannon (135), Lackey's Bryan DePhillip (189) and Oxon Hill's Nigel Cross (285).
