5. EVANSVILLE MATER DEI SECTIONAL
No. 7 Evansville Central slips past No. 21 Castle by three shots for the team title, with Evansville North another 10 shots back in third – nosing out both No. 6 Evansville Reitz and Evansville Memorial by two strokes for the last spot – while also advancing at Fendrich. Central’s Tyler Merkel shoots a 67 to beat out Boonville’s Griffin Wood by one stroke for medalist honors.
