Announcement: PVI serves up a loss for ESHS
Posted: 09/25/2008
The Roadrunners travelled to Paul VI in Fairfax on Tuesday and came home with a 3 games to 1 loss. The game scores were 21-25, 25-21, 11-25, 17-25. Seton looked like it had grabbed the momentum from PVI in the second game when Senior Courtney Cooper took over the serve with the Roadrunners trailing 15-21. Cooper served up 10 straight points to seal the victory and give Seton the momentum going into game three. Paul VI stopped any thoughts of a victory when they served the roadrunners off the court. Serve receive has been an achilles heal for the Seton team all year. While playing better in game four the Panthers proved to be the better team on Tuesday and came away with the victory. The Roadrunners were led by Nydia Bryan-Green with 9 kills, 3 digs, 2 service aces, and 3 blocks.
