DigitalSports® now provides a premier service to State Athletic Directors Associations. The DigitalSports AD CONNECTION™ is designed to provide Athletic Directors Associations, and their member Athletic Directors’s (AD’s) and/or Activity Managers (AM’s) with the ultimate tools, resources and benefits available today.

DigitalSports® has developed a proprietary program that is designed to enrich the High School sports experience for those who administer their School’s Athletic or Athletic & Activity Programs. The AD CONNECTION ™ Program was developed by Athletic Directors possessing an understanding and appreciation for the need for Athletic Directors Associations at the Conference and State levels. This program, an Eight (8) Point Plan created for you and your members, is provided herein for your consideration. Best of all – it comes at no cost!

Today’s Athletic Directors manage as many as thirty (30) or more sports at up to three (3) levels of competition - Varsity, JV and Freshmen. The “work” day is from sunrise to long after the sun sets. Officials, transportation, student eligibility, facility management, hiring of coaches, communication – the list of responsibilities are endless. Enforcing statewide rules and regulations and dealing with countless grey areas interpretation can easily become long conversations with parents bringing their own interpretation to the forefront. DigitalSports understands the life of an Athletic Director, and has developed systems, tools and resources to improve the daily quality of life for these men and women dedicated to providing a safe and meaningful sports experience to the student-athletes in their school.

The emergence of the internet and technology has had both a positive and negative impact on the role played by an Athletic Director. Kids are experimenting with, and ‘testing’, the internet’s capabilities. Sometimes these experiments result in poor judgment, as an environment free from supervision; and an audience of over 100 million people provides the students with a hiding place to share their world without realizing the potential negative consequences. School administrators work hard looking for solutions to the internet’s free expression environment. Until the time arrives, when schools have total control over the internet’s influence on the school’s image (outside of the school’s reach), administrators must look to others operating in the internet space, whose values and principles meet those of the Athletic Directors and Activity Managers, to help preserve the school’s brand and mission . DigitalSports is one of those few available today to help our Athletic Directors and team programs.
