MANAGEMENT ROSTER ELIZABETH MANSON, PRESIDENT & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER Liddy is a seasoned interactive media executive with over 15 years of experience working with premier media and interactive brands. Before joining DigitalSports in November of ?08, she served as the Chief Operating Officer of Freewebs, Inc. a venture backed, early-stage internet company focused on user-generated content and social publishing. Prior to joining Freewebs in January of ?07, Liddy spent nine years in various senior management roles at the interactive subsidiary of The Washington Post Company. In those years she served in both functional roles (sales, marketing, business development) and ran the largest P&L at the company, Local Commercial Products and Online Classifieds. FOUNDER & HEAD COACH – EDWARD KELLEY Ed is the founder of Digital Sports and responsible for the Company?s relationships with schools, coaches, athletic directors and youth and community organizations. Ed was a co-founder of Jiffy Lube International, where he held various key positions, including CFO, Executive VP and COO. ?Coach? Kelley has 17 years of coaching experience from the youth through college levels and has served on numerous youth boards and booster clubs. Ed attended Hampden Sydney College (VA) where he was a two time Football All American and a member of their Hall of Fame. CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER – CARL WARTZACK Carl brings over 10 years of interactive media experience to the team. Additionally, he has been at the forefront of internet monetization during his time at Yahoo and Advertising.com. Carl will be instrumental in positioning Digital Sports as the premier media company covering the youth sports and activities community. Mr. Wartzack joins Digital Sports after a highly successful stint leading business strategy for Yahoo’s Content Match, the world’s second largest contextually targeted ad network. He previously spent six years leading ad operations and product management for Advertising.com. He began his interactive career at Washington Post Newsweek Interactive managing their marketplace strategies product group.” CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER & COFOUNDER – CARLOS ESCAFFI Mr. Escaffi is responsible for all technology at DigitalSports™ Inc. He is a visionary and a result oriented Senior Information Technology Executive with over 19 years of professional experience. He has a proven track record of planning, developing and implementing leading-edge technology solutions for startups and Fortune 500 companies. Former Vice President of eCommerce and Back Office Systems - AOL, Inc. Former Vice President of Business Applications - Earthlink, Inc. Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer - OneMain.com. Principal Consultant, PriceWaterhouse Coopers. Mr. Escaffi holds an M.B.A. in Entrepreneurship from University of Baltimore; a M.S. in Management Information Systems from University of Baltimore; a B.S. in Information Systems from University of Baltimore; and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from University of Lima, Peru. VP & GENERAL MANAGER of WASHINGTON, DC MARKET – RICH TOLAND Rich joined DigitalSports® in 2002 and currently serves as Vice President of Operations for the Company. During his tenure with DigitalSports®, Rich has been instrumental in the development and execution of the DigitalSports business model and has held positions of Director of Training and Director of Franchise Support while also contributing to the sales, marketing and growth strategies of the Company. Rich brings over eight years of experience in website development, management and monetization, starting in 1999 with his co-founding of Toland Technologies, a Sports Multi-Media Company in New Jersey that focused on high school sports multimedia websites and related products. Rich graduated from Cook College, Rutgers University (NJ), with a B.S. in Environmental and Business Economics, and was a member of the Rutgers Varsity Football Team. GENERAL MANAGER of BALTIMORE MARKET – GARY ADORNATO Gary is a 23 year member of the media and press; including as a winner of the prestigious Baltimore Touchdown Club Media Personality of the Year in 2006. A graduate of Towson University, Gary Adornato began his professional career as a sportswriter with the Baltimore Sun, where he covered high school sports and local colleges. Gary was the founder of SportsCom, one of the first ‘new media’ companies in America focused on High School sports. Gary launched MIAA Sports.com and IAAM Sports.com, covering two of the most prestigious private school conferences in America. In addition to his responsibilities for leading the Company’s efforts to cover sports and activities throughout Maryland, Gary has been instrumental in developing the new DigitalSports’ portal. CONTROLLER – MIKE KOCOROWSKI Mike brings thirteen years of hands-on experience coordinating all aspects of finance and accounting for small and large firms. His past responsibilities include budgeting, cash management, management reporting and analysis, financial statement preparation, and working with outside accountants and tax advisors. Mike has experience managing cash flows, implementing and maintaining policies and procedures for accounting and finance related tasks; and has developed cross-functional processes to be used across the company, promoting efficiency and accuracy.” We will also stress that Mike will “provide education and assistance to teammates and management on budget development and ongoing budget tracking at both the department and project level; while developing solutions for improving financial performance against budgets.” ![]() |
