BOCCC

The Basketball Officials and Coaches Communication Committee meets three times annually and continues to explore ways to improve the relationships between referees and coaches. In addition, improving the overall sportsmanship exhibited by all involved in high school basketball is a constant discussion item.
Positive inroads continue to be made by the BOCCC.  A sportsmanship video is now part of the basketball rules meeting video.  The BCAM Monthly Reports contain a section written by a basketball official. Officials associations are speaking to teams and groups about sportsmanship.  Many, many endeavors are constantly explored with the ultimate goal of having ALL coaches at every level and ALL referees at every level all part of the same team – the winning sportsmanship team!
