Ashburn (August 1, 2007) Welcome to the inaugural edition of “Voices From the Sideline”.  I hope you find this column entertaining and useful as I hope to share experiences and information I have obtained from my 20 plus years of coaching youth sports.

To start things off, I want to share a story written by a good friend of mine, Brian Whitney, who is a former NCAA Division 1 Volleyball coach and is currently one of the top Volleyball coaches in the country.  Brian and I have shared many stories from the perspective of coaching kids and he had his first “parent” experience recently which he has graciously shared with all of us.  Please feel free to send any questions or stories you wish to share to adeem@digitalsports.com
