SAC HC requires that all Travel and Recreational Select (A) team players go through competitive tryouts each year. 

Players not selected for Travel may be selected for a Select (A) team. These players must attend the Select (A) team tryouts.

All players not selected for either a Travel team or aSelect (A) team will be placed on a Recreational Team.

SAC/HC's All-Star or Tournament only teams also require tryouts.

Process:

• Complete Tryout Registration Form
• Attend 2 nights for travel tryouts or 1 night of recreational Select (A) team tryouts (Additional tryout sessions are optional but recommended)
• Accept offer from travel team, pay team required deposit (if applicable) and register online
• Accept offer from recreational Select (A) and register online
  

Tryout Locations: Primary tryout locations are Northrop Fields at Covenant Park or Howard Community College. Supplemental tryouts occur at Board of Education fields.

When:  Primary tryouts are in May/June; supplemental tryouts as announced

What to Have for Tryouts: 

• white tee shirt
• cleats
• shin guard
• socks which cover shin guards completely
• water bottle
• sports goggles (if necessary)
• player application
• number when assigned
• Inform coaches of any allergies, injuries or need for medication
  

Notification/Acceptance:

• By coaches through phone numbers on application
• Acceptance or rejection by player within 3-4 days of offer
• Listing of acceptances by tryout number on website
