POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a hands-on Quality Assurance Manager to join our Technology Department. We offer entrepreneurial individuals the opportunity to grow with us and share in the rewards. The Quality Assurance Manager will build and lead the Quality Assurance team as they collaborate with Product Management, Engineering and Operations functions to deliver high quality, high value products to DigitalSports customers.

This individual will be responsible for the overall QA development, project planning, execution, tracking and risk assessment. In addition, the Manager of Quality Assurance will be responsible for the continuous improvement of QA processes, frameworks and tools.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for gathering test requirements, developing and executing test plans, test scripts and test reports
• Responsible for design, development, and maintenance of modular, extensible and reusable test automation harnesses and scripts for functional, regression and load testing.
• Responsible for the development of all QA documentation such as test plans, test data, test results and defects reports in order to efficiently test new features and future versions of the products.
• Responsible for managing the testing of all aspects of for our n-tiered applications including database, application logic, and UI (SQL Server & MySQL, Microsoft .Net & Ruby on Rails Web Development Frameworks)
• Responsible to work with the Product Management team to plan and execute build/test cycles and coordinate product releases.
• Advises management on quality of product builds and their worthiness for release to the client base.
• Provides direction and supervision to offshore and onshore QA engineers.
• Set project goals, monitor progress and report status to senior management.
• Must have a high level of comfort working in a rapidly changing, fast-paced startup environment.
• The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of SDLC, extensive experience in QA processes, methodologies, best practices and hands-on skills with test automation tools for functional, regression and load testing.
• Highly motivated, experienced, resourceful and efficient.
• Strong work ethic is a must.
