Crowned as the state's top cross country team last November, Jackson showed that its superiority extends to the track as well at Saturday's Colts Neck Relays. The foursome of Monroe Kearns, Anthony Meleo, Ryan Fenimore and Kris Carle topped strong fields in both the 4x800 (8:11.70) and Distance Medley (10:34.81) relays. In other action, Colts Neck's boys set a new Freehold District Record in the sprint medley, winning in 3:34.96 behind Craig Forys' 1:56.6 split for the 800-meter anchor.
