2008 Battle In The Heartland published: 8/11/2008 2008 Battle In The Heartland Jamboree held at West Hardin. The Knights played their 1st season game against Meade Co MS (Stuart Pepper). The Knights defeated the Green Wave team 14-0 in a half game format. The Green Wave were their conference champions last year with a record of 9-1. In the second game, the Knights played against a fast Bluegrass MS Colt team. The Knights won the game 24-8. Kyle Bolin was named the Jamboree MVP.. Teams participating in the Jamboree included Owensboro Catholic, Bluegrass Middle, Meade Co, Frankfort MS, JT Alton, Grayson Co and West Hardin.
