The Garrison Forest defense was scored on for the first time this season, as No. 5 Fallston (3-0) made a pair of first-half goals stand up in a 2-1 win over the No. 3 Grizzlies (5-1), in a non-conference field hockey match yesterday in Owings Mills.

It was the football Game of the Week on Friday in Anne Arundel County, as No. 18 North County visited No. 7 Old Mill. The Patritos entered the contest undefeated and had their prolific passing attack working on this play, as wide-out Josh Gross gets a step on the outside and quarterback Grant Enders drills him for a 73-yard catch and run. The play gave the Patriots a 21-15 lead, but North County rallied for a 22-21 upset victory.
