YOUTH & CLUB SPORTS IN AMERICA

DigitalSports understands the need for local community leadership, and we have developed our program to eliminate any intrusion on our part. Our role is to provide tools and resources to Youth and Club Sports organizations in such a way as to improve the quality of life for those managing, coaching, officiating, playing or watching their kids play:

• Tools for Youth and Club Sports’ volunteer coaches. Allows more time to mentor, teach, coach and develop kids
• Calendar systems to help parents plan their daily, weekly and monthly calendars around their kid’s activity schedules
• Multi-Media tools which allow communities to be brought together and share their kids’ sports and activity events
• Communication tools that provide efficient and “real time” messaging
• Effective fund raising tools through a Revenue Share Program

DigitalSports not only understands Youth and Club Sports, we have lived them personally. Our management team and staff have been parents of kids in Youth and Club Sports; and/or have been the kid who played (and watched our parents give of their time). We have coached and helped administer programs at the Youth and Club Sports levels. We have been involved at the Commissioner and Board of Directors levels in Youth & Club Sports. We have been volunteer coaches in sports we never played. We have driven our kids door-to-door to raise money for uniforms.

With this experience in mind, we have spent the last year interviewing parents, coaches, commissioners and leaders; gathering information and prioritizing the needs to be addressed by our system and program.

The following list of priorities resulted:

• Parents need access to reliable information regarding our kids and sports
• More efficient communication tools are needed
• There should be an opportunity for a greater number of kids to be recognized
• Communities and families differ in their ability to provide affordable programs for their kids – so fund raising is vital
• Families want access to information and memories - activities or games missed because or work or schedule conflicts
• Out-of-Town families and relatives would love to have access to events

DigitalSports is developing a program designed to address these and other needs:

1. Our goal is to recognize as many kids, teams, sports and organizations as possible.
2. Our internship program offers real life ‘skill’ opportunities for club participants
3. DigitalSports will be available to every sport – from Field Hockey to Swimming to Badminton to Bowling. In fact, we cover 27 sports, and add more every month.
4. DigitalSports provides tools and systems to all levels of competition
5. The DigitalSports program is designed to allow for more kids being recognized
6. Our ‘Portal’ is designed to provide families with access to important information
7. Our Communication systems create a less stressful environment
8. Our audio and video systems create opportunities for entertainment and capturing memories
9. Our Revenue Share Program offers teams, clubs and organizations an effective vehicle for raising money
10. Our iDAP (Interactive Digital Athlete Profile and Interactive Digital Activities Profile) is safe and secure for the kids; and, prohibits inappropriate content from being displayed; prevents unauthorized contact of kids by others

We embrace the role Club Sports and High School Sports play in the community and in the lives of families. Accordingly, we create an atmosphere where both can work together.
