Boys’ Soccer Top 10
*Rankings and records as of May 3
1. Osbourn Park (9-0-1) — LW: 1
The
Yellow
Jackets continued their top form with a pair of impressive wins last week: 2-1 over a quality Liberty side and 4-0 over Culpeper. Osbourn Park has outscored its opponents 30-3 this season, the fewest goals
allowed among any team in the DigitalSports coverage
area. It faces Loudoun Valley (0-7-4), Fauquier (2-5-4) and Osbourn (7-3-1) in the next six days.
2. Battlefield (8-0-2) — LW: 3

Bobcats
remain one of two unbeaten teams in Northern Virginia after a 1-0 win over Liberty and a 2-2 draw with Fauquier. Battlefield travels to Osbourn (7-3-1) on Thursday and Loudoun Valley (0-7-4) on Friday before a much-ancipated season finale with No. 1 Osbourn Park on May 12.

Its regular season is complete and won the Concorde District regular-season title to earn a first-round bye. .
4. Robinson (9-1-2) — LW: 2
The
Rams have posted some shaky results lately. Although Robinson is 3-0-1 in its last four matches, all three wins came by one goal and just one of the four games was against a team with a winning record. It drew with Oakton, 0-0, and beat Fairfax, 1-0, last week. The Rams face No. 8 Stone Bridge on Friday. They host Fairfax (2-10-0) in the first round of the Concorde District Tournament.

The
Highlanders’
two
losses are to No. 3 Westfield, 5-2 on March 23, and
No. 10 Wakefield, 4-2 on March 12. McLean handily beat Chantilly, 5-2, in its only match last week. The Highlanders won the regular-season Liberty District title and will host Marshall (1-10-1) in the first round of the district tournament on Monday.

halftime in the last match. It travels to C.D. Hylton on Friday and
Freedom-Woodbridge on Monday. The Vikings

The Stallions moved up two spots, but were just three minutes from beating Lake Braddock (6-1-4) last week before late goal earned the Bruins a 1-1 draw. South County is tied atop the Patriot District with Lake Braddock and only has a match with South Lakes (4-5-1) remaining in its regular season.
8. Stone Bridge (8-1-1) — LW: 9

10. Wakefield (9-1-2) — LW: 5
The Warriors opened eyes around the Northern Region with their 5-1
dismantling over the previously unbeaten — and previously fifth-ranked
— Eagles on on April 24, but have struggled since. Wakefield fell at Washington-Lee, 3-2, on Tuesday and drew, 0-0, with West Potomac on Wednesday. It closes the season against Herndon (6-4-1) on Thursday and Hayfield (4-7-1) on Saturday.
