Hon. Mention — Marinelli Pick Six

No. 10 –
Lee’s Real. Comfortable. Touchdown.

No. 9 Man of Troy
Langley senior fullback Austin Pritchett takes this screen pass from junior quarterback Braden Anderson 30 yards for a score, sprung by a devastating junior receiver Troy Scharfen. The Saxons beat the Colonials, 46-14.

No. 8 Beam Me Up
Fairfax senior receiver Patrick Beam puts the Rebels in striking range late in the fourth quarter with this acrobatic, 30-yard reception. Fairfax senior Jack Carter scored an 8-yard touchdown on the next play for a 27-22, road upset win over South Lakes.

No. 7 – Sweet Sours Kicks
Westfield senior Ryan Sweet lays out to block a game-winning field goal at the end of regulation and a game-tying extra point in overtime, clinching a 21-20, road upset win over previously unbeaten Robinson.

No. 6 Akil’ler Instinct
Oakton junior returner Akil Jones fields this kickoff to open the second half, weaves through the Herndon coverage and heads 97 yards for a score. The Cougars won, 38-13, over the Ozycz-less Hornets.
